The Academy of Global Business Research and Practice (AGBRP) which will replace the Society for Global Business and Economic Development (SGBED) is incorporated as a non-profit organization in New Jersey in 2019.

 

The specific purposes of AGBRP are:

• To establish a forum for the promotion of scholarship and dissemination of ideas on theory and practice in a global business context;

• To foster research and peer-reviewed publications by organizing conferences, symposia, and workshops;

• To collaborate with business and industry and entrepreneurs and explore ideas to generate research and scholarship that would narrow the gap between theory and practice;

• To organize a network of educators, scholars, and professionals and generate opportunities for training and mentoring of entrepreneurship in developing countries.
